Shana, in her third season, with Taylor spent six weeks in the autum of 2001 gunning grouse across four states (SD, OR, MT, MN) in order to write The Wild Ones. Here, Shana poses with some prairie chickens she pointed on South Dakota's Ft. Pierre National Grasslands. She held a point on the birds while a pronghorn buck danced across her line of vision, about 75 yards away. |
